Magistrates' Association Bye-Laws

The Magistrates’ Association is incorporated by Royal Charter, granted in 2005. The charter is the governing document of the organisation and sets out how the Association is to be managed, and by whom – ie the Board of Trustees.

The bye-laws are to be found in the schedule to the Charter and are updated from time to time, most recently in January 2005. The bye-laws set out the rules relating to membership, meetings, officers, branches etc.
