Local Crime, Community Sentence (LCCS)

Local Crime, Community Sentence (LCCS)LCCS builds on the proven success of MIC in that the project involves a magistrate and a probation officer speaking to a variety of community groups to deliver information on how offenders are dealt with when they have committed a crime serious enough for a community sentence.

LCCS has the support of the Lord Chief Justice and is recognised as a key player in raising awareness and confidence in community sentences.

The project is available in several areas. For further information contact Ann Flintham or Jim Leach, National Co-ordinator, LCCS, tel 01789 415718 or visit the LCCS website.
